This worldwide first and only Premium Champaign Cork Yoga Mat by MAATÏ MAATÏ with delicate red detail is made from natural, sustainable premium cork from Portugal. A material that grows on trees for decades, then is carefully peeled from the bark so as not to harm the cork oak - and then hand-selected and processed every gram of cork. This is how the mat differs from the usual cork yoga mats, as no agglomerated cork is used, but rather natural, large cork discs that are patchworked together, making each mat unique and more flexible. Cork is naturally water and dust repellent, making it easy to keep clean. The surface also naturally sheds sweat on its own - especially with moisture, cork develops an unmistakable slip resistance. Therefore, the mat is perfect for challenging yoga styles such as Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Bikram or Power. Developed by founder and energy healer Leonie Lepenos herself.
